Fan Club Message - Summer 2010
Dear Friends, Connie has been extremely busy recently with a number of appearances where she has been warmly received by friends, fans and celebrities. Many of you had the opportunity to see Connie in concert in the months of March and early April when she toured St. Petersburg, Coral Springs and Orlando. Many European fans arrived for the Coral Springs concert, proving to be one of the most successful. There was also a well-received concert again in Bergen on May 1, followed by three consecutive nights in Las Vegas, teaming with Dionne Warwick at the Hilton. Press concluded with a nine-times repeated appearance with Dionne on "The Joy Behar Show" on CNN, as well as another on a cable show. In Las Vegas, "ET," "Extra" and "Insider" filmed Connie, with "Insider" shown on CBS, June 18. This newsletter is in connection with the May 29 celebration in Fort Lauderdale to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the filming of "Where The Boys Are" and we felt it fitting to highlight again Connie's first film venture. Please note that Connie sang "Where the Boys Are" and "God Bless America" to thousands that evening, which ended with a showing of the film on the beach. Warmest Regards, Pat and Alan |
