
Annual Philadelphia Columbus Day Parade Makes it's Way Down Broad St.
SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The annual Philadelphia Columbus Day Parade made its way down Broad Street.
Legendary singer, Connie Francis, served as this year's Grand Marshal of the parade that celebrates Italian-American culture.
6abc's own Alicia Vitarelli was the emcee.

Connie Francis will preside as Grand Marshal in the Columbus Day Parade, Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, October 8th, 2017. The parade will begin at 12:30 PM from Broad and Morris Streets and proceed south on Broad St. to Marconi Plaza (Broad and Oregon Ave.)
Other Italian-American activities will include the "1492 Night in Italy Dinner" with renowned American Disc Jockey, Jerry Blavat, also known as "The Geator".
